The PDCreativity Project
is a beacon of light in the darkness that is
Parkinson's disease. Our mission is to
help improve the quality of life for people
with Parkinson's (PWPs), by shedding light
on the therapeutic value of creativity and
encouraging them to pursue their own forms
of artistic expression, whether it is music,
dance and photography or jewelry making, and
painting.
The Project's
website –
PDCreativity.org – celebrates the courage
and strength of the human spirit. It
is evident in the featured artwork created
by PWPs, and the artists' inspiring thoughts
about how their creativity sets them free,
helping them transcend the physical and
emotional challenges of Parkinson's.
Applying their skills and talents to
creative endeavors, many regain a sense of
purpose, direction, and achievement.

is dedicated to helping improve
the lives of people living with
Parkinson's disease. It is
supported by the Parkinson's
Disease Foundation (PDF) and is
the cornerstone of a larger
Quality of Life Initiative. |
